Important note: All persons eighteen years of age or older who wish to view a property MUST provide photo identification upon arrival as well as a photocopy of the same ID for our records--since we do not have access photocopiers at rental locations.

Why attend a property showing?
Although property photos are often available online, we recommend that you and/or your representative take the time to attend a property showing so that you may inspect the interior and exterior of the property prior to submitting a Residential Lease Application.
From time to time, a property showing is scheduled in advance of the available move-in date, while it is still occupied by a tenant. In this case, Midwest Metropol Properties would not have had the opportunity to clean and prepare the property. All properties are cleaned and prepared for new tenants unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing in the lease agreement.
How can I view a property?
We strongly discourage you from making an unannounced visit to a property. Most people consider it an invasion of privacy and potentially a threat to their security to find a stranger walking around their yard, peering through windows, or knocking on their door. We respect the rights of our tenants and their neighbors and for this reason all of our showings are scheduled.
Most of our showings are done in an open-house fashion so that you may come at go at your leisure and inspect the property without feeling pressured. If you cannot attend a scheduled showing, a private showing may be arranged. When you inquire about a specific property, be sure to ask about scheduled showings.
What to Bring?
As stated above, all prospective tenants ages 18 and older who wish to view a property are required to provide photo identification upon arrival. Remember to bring a photocopy of the same ID for our records.
In addition to a Photo ID (and a photocopy), we recommend that you bring the following:
- Completed Residential Lease Application
- Application Fee(s) (personal checks are accepted, receipt will be provided)
- Income Verification documents (if necessary--see Income Requirements)
May I take photos of the property?
If the property is currently vacant, photos are permitted. However, if the property is currently occupied by a tenant, photographs are strictly forbidden as that would be an infringement of the tenant's rights.
